I figured I should post this down here as well as in tractor talk. It's not restored, it's fixed up to run great and look decent. We brushed the paint on, looks good. Tractor will be a semi- retired worker at my dad's place. My wife made the decals. I know the Ford on the fenders isn't "correct" but we like it. Thanks to everyone here who helped get this ol' tractor running!

My dad really liked the 19 inch tires so we swapped hubs and rims. He bought new front tires.

Very nice job.

Went to Napa the other day for an oil filter for my 2N and I was surprised that they had it in stock. Store owner said he sells quite a few of them and I think we can attribute that to well made old iron that is being maintained by a dedicated group of folks.

You certainly fit the description.

hat filter fits many vehicles, including some older Mercedes Benz cars. Your tractor is i good company! :)

Great Job. Glad to see you returned it to the right color. Always nice to hear it will still be working even light duty instead of sitting.

Sure turned out nice, looks brand new in the pics, that gray paint has got to be very close to the original shade of gray Ford used...

She has a cricut machine. Somehow hooks to computer and will cut out vinyl letters. She makes shirts, too.

I have got both a 41 9N and a 44 2N. Got rid of those non working 19" on the 2 N as soon in the 40's the 16" became avaible, The 9N about 20 years ago when I got it. Have no idea why Ford ever went with the 19" instead of the better 16" for handling.
