It's stamped on a rear axle too. I
think it's 1091. Could read it
better on the axle. My street
address is 1091.............

Chances are it may be an asset ID tag installed by a previous owning firm or governmental branch. I was the equipment manager for a large marine const. co and each and every piece of equipment had to have a numbered brass ID tag that was attached with drive screws as that one is.

Somebody for some reason stamped a number in the Pattened plate that is from factory there. That is not an added on plate.
