This old dog learned a new trick today, I have several 8n's I use for dragging roads and etc, and there has been a few times they have broken down on
the road pulling a box or straight blade, and of course by the time I get back with a truck the 3 point gas fallen all the way down, I used to keep a come
a long in the truck to pull it up with just for this problem, but today I learned that if you turn the pto off, raise the 3 point lever to the full up position, take
a long shank screw driver and put it through the hole on the pto shaft and turn it back and forth like you would a hydraulic jack, the arms will raise all
the way up no matter how heavy the implement. And you can do it without the screw driver if there is nothing on the arms when you trying to hook up
an implement by yourself and need to adjust the heights.
