Now here's an 8n you don't see every day. I think I would need a wider deck over trailer.

Ive seen pictures of other double tractors, but never a Ford. I always wonder if you need two drivers to move one around. Must be fun to do any service to the engines in that narrow gap between them lol. Thanks for sharing Kirk, always neat to see something unique.

As they used to say on the old Monty Python show, ?Now, for something completely different...?! Must take two drivers, looks like throttle and shifters aren?t connected side too side. Would be good to see it driving.

This guy is a MUCH better welder of cast than I am! I would want some bracing added to the rear trumpets if I welded it!<)
Bet it gets lots of attention though!

Driver training tractor?

I've seen something like that before, but they were much closer meshed together, with the seat, steering wheel, etc, completely removed from one side. Might of even had some form of flywheel linkage wherein only on transmission was functional. I thought I saw it here, a long long time ago.

Looks like steering is linked. Looks like there is some brake control work added.

I guess you could operate both transmissions at the same time, if your arm is long enough. But, then again, although they might of came from the factory the same, over time they are not going to synch up real clean. Seems like one side would ultimately be pulling the other.

I suppose on this one, they must of flipped the clutch on the leftside machine to its right side and welded it to the clutch on the rightmost machine.

But agree, a 16N doesn't seem the best option.

Are we sure this isn't two pics of the same tractor, taken from slightly different angles and photoshopped? Seems like some of the wear and rust patterns are awful similar.

But, again, nothing from good ol' American ingenuity surprises me anymore.
