Spent part of today fixing some small problems, and swapping the rear blades. Also fixed a couple of hydrolics leaks, and tightend up the friction gasket for the three point control arm...(every time I hit a bump....that arm slide down and the three point let the blade drop.(NOT GOOD, I'm thinkin'!!!!)
New seat will be here Friday, and new Owner' manual here tomorrow!!!
All around Great machine, and I'm glad I bought it!!!!!

So will that loader fit in the Hermie shed? Having a more weather-tight tractor stall might pay good dividends... :)

Yep,.....when Royse was here we did the measuring. I also found that the ROP on the 3000, and the width of the tires,....fit through the shop door, with room to spare.
Once I get 'Hermie sold....the 3000 has a bedroom, all to himself!!!

You re going to find all kinds of projects to use that loader on, Gary, if my own experience is any guide.

Selling Hermie down the river? Why I never! :(

Good post Hobo.
The parking brake extender is the best
deal ever if you're old or fat or both.
Reaching down to your shoe to set the
brake was not one of Ford's better
Ideas. They changed that in 76 on the
3600s.
And yes, there have been a lot of that
era tractor went up in smoke because of
a pinched battery cable. I bought the
tractor in the photo because of a fire.
I miss the foot throttle on mine.
Had an original Ford one for about 10
years but gave it up for some fancy
British made 3000 fenders and step
plates to match.
Had run N fenders up until then.

YEH, I know!!! Just so much more to this 3000, than with Hermie.
He has been a really good piece of runner, since I overhauled him....but would never be able to hold a candle to this 3000.
The 3000 FEL makes such a big diff!!!
Still got a lot to learn, but, liking every min. of it.....then add all the other perk's....WOW!!!

The differential lock on my 3000 has saved me a few times .

The one time it did not save me the scalloped wheels did . You can run a chain through the rim ( not where the valve stem is though ) and to a tree . Rev it up and let out the clutch , you will move 3 feet . Re chain and do it again . Took me 4 or 5 times but I managed to pull myself out of the creek .
