12v Light Conversion

i got a switch from TSC that is fused and supports 3 separate circuits. paid 5 bucks for it a couple of years ago.

A switch doesn't care what the voltage is. It just needs to be rated for the current your going to pull. Just go to an automotive parts store and ask for a universal light switch that is fused.

Oh, you want a switch for head lights and a tail light or a separate switch for a work light? If you want head lights and a tail light you just wire the tail light to the same terminal as the head lights on your new switch. If you want a work light, the easiest thing is to have a separate switch for that.

I used a marine switch from the boat repair place here in town. Supposed to be moisture resistant. It?s been working over ten years in all kinds of weather.
