ok,,do have some seed for those,,we want to plant tomatoes,peppers,too,some potatoes are planted,lettuce and onions are growing now,,and we are going to do some pole beans,,do you like string beans/[pole beans etc?

My wife likes to plant the purple string beans. She thinks they are easier to find when she picks them. They turn green when they are cooked and taste really good.

I got some seeds for those,,and it says these type grow up on top of the bush to make fro easy
picking!We will see,,hopefully,if they grow,if the weather is good,if the critters dont get
them,,,etc

I like all the things you mentioned.
Mom never had a problem with me not eating my vegies.
Cukes, peas, turnips, potatoes, carrots, tomatos, persimmons, onions, cabbage, kale, beets, spinach, lettuce, peppers - cept not the real hot ones.
Don't forget the Kohlrabies. We used to come home from scool, pick one, wash it off and eat it like an apple. They had a nice handle to hold onto.
Mom would peel and slice them and serve them that way.

It's not that noticeable cooked in gumbo. But I can't do plain boiled okra. I think you need to be born in SC to have a gene for that.

Pot. I know that the lawmakers shot down Murphy's bid this time but it won't be long before it passes. You will have your own home grown field and the stuff grows
like weeds (get it). Looks like a nice spot you have there. you can set up a nice tasting room like the wineries have. Supplement your retirement income. The down
side is deer eat it.
