Dearborn loader retrofit

Hey guys

I'm in the midst of doing a DA conversion on my dearborn loader. As part of the job I'm going to also put a larger bucket and tip/roll cylinders on. Has anyone ever done this, us it worth it and, if so, how do I size the length of the tip/roll cylinders? Thanks for any and all input!

Can't tell you whether it's worth it or not.

Once you have the bucket mounted you determine the stroke of the bucket cylinders by measuring the travel of the bucket/cylinder attaching points as it rolls from full dump to full back. You then find a cylinder with stroke that long or longer and a retracted length long enough to go between the cylinder attaching points when bucket is rolled all the way back. Simple geometry
