(quoted from post at 23:20:01 02/13/19) thanks Bruce, lots of good info... to your question its leaking around 3oclock, spraying out on tire.

High pressure fluid from the pump.is delivered to the top cover via a 1/2" internal stand pipe that comes up the right front corner of the center housing. The pipe seals to the top cover with a paper gasket which has probably failed. Not too hard to replace but the top cover is heavy and can be a bear to break loose from the case.

As Hobo says the lift cylinder and pump control linkage is attached to the underside of the top cover and is cumbersome to disconnect/reconnect to the pump. Read the shop manual carefully to get a basic understanding and there are a host of threads here discussing clever ways to accomplish that task. The gasket in question is a large rectangle that goes around the perimeter of the mounting flange. If you have a shop crane it makes the job a lot easier.

As said, you blew the top gasket. it's thin paper. be mindfull of the control fork linkage when you pull the top cover, clean
everything and replace it.
