Loader Tractor Tool box location

With a Wagner loader on its not fun to get to most stuff on my N. The tool box was one such item.If its by the battery hard to get something if on the fenders its in the way to get off and onto the seat. So I built a platform that is anchored by the seat bolts and a support stanchion by picking up a diffy bolt. This tractor was my winter project so the loader is not on it yet.

This one was on the rear fender but but not in the way of getting on and of. My wife used to ride on it with her Dad when she was little, it is an old mail box you can just see it on the left fender. I am guessing your Wagner is a jungle jim type.

Another question you ask this is what I use anywhere I can on valve covers they are getting hard to find tho....

Google GM Valve Cover Reinforcement Kit Hold Downs 14085816

They are the real deal not the normal Mr. Gaskets reinforcement straps. The GM style is made out of spring steel that has a contestant compression effect they return to their original shape when removed... They are spring steel ha MF'er to drill you will have to cut the corner reinforcement down to fit. These have been on for 8 years. You could also try

My Machine shop man a big time ford lubber uses NAPA gasket maker "the Right Stuff" I like it I just not like it on this application...

Here is another easy way to mount a tool box. Just make sure your lift arm does not hit it when all the way up.

My tractor spends a lot of time alone, without anyone around. Unless someone knows where the tool kit is on a 8N, they aren't going to look under the hood. If they do know where the tool box is, I guess I'm out of luck. Just one more easy security detail. I guess if I moved it, I could put a hasp and lock on, but for something that's unattended for long periods, it wouldn't take that much to pry off a lid end.

Thats the trouble with anything ya lock they tear the hell out of a door to break in
to steal stuff and your left with a tore up door, so leave it unlocked they get your
stuff but ya dont have a screwed up door.

I saw the right stuff and was going to try it next, but I think I will pass since you
say not right for this app.

I had to fix a oil leak he "Right Stuffed" every thing but must have not cleaned the rear intake to block good it did not bond..
I like to tore up the valve covers getting them off they were stuck bad I mean bad...

I can put a set of valve cover gaskets on my 390 every 10 years and not fight it...

I "Right Suffed" the oil pan on my 7.3 diesel I petty the next guy that has to remove it... I use to "Right Suff: valve covers on chebbys 2.5's it was the only thing that would insure it would not leak... It does work have a few extra set of valve covers if you have to remove them

Nice!
Lucky to have that space and good hold down bolts there.
I couldn't do it on mine because of my favorite saddle. :D

Every time I think about where to put a box, I think of the access space it can take . . . so I keep using this heavy leather Indian made bag hanging from my light bracket.

A guy could put a nice long leather row of tool pockets along the fender with a rain flap. Make it removable though so it can be brought inside in the damp/cold winter weather (gets moldy)

It holds an old monkey wrench a few screwdrivers, pliers, etc., with room to spare. I hang the big wrenches from the differential ear.
