Copper gasket spray??

I've never used it before, but this '43 2N rebuild has been giving me fits, so I think I want to use the copper gasket spray on a metal head gasket. My problem is I doubt the young woman who runs the local parts store will have any idea what I'm talking about. What exactly should I ask for? (Maybe I don't know any more about it than she does!)
Thanks!

I've used it on all my 4-cylinder flat head Fords.

Just show her the link.....or order it off of Amazon for half the cost.

I've done it dry and used it. if there are screwdriver or scratches from a previous owner rough handing the head or block, then
I use the copper spray.

never failed so far.

Lynn,If I had any question about the head gasket sealing on a N I would use a FelPro Part #7277B perma torque Head gasket. Then save the steel one for a later project.FelPro blue #7277B,use the best available.

This will probably start a bunch of replies, but all I've ever used is plain old silver spray paint on a metal head gasket. Never had a failure.

I was kind of hoping it WOULD start some comments! I did the same one time w/a cheap white spray bomb on a fiber gasket & had no leaks.

Yep , Ditto that . I try to save money when I can , but unless I am doing a weekend patch job I will gladly spend $18 on a Felpro head gasket . Most part stores can order one and get it the next day .

I took one apart that the PO had tried to use a used metal head
gasket and white RTV caulk. For some reason, it did not seal.
I used a new metal gasket and copper coat on that one. Sealed fine.
Still, I prefer the FelPro soft gaskets too.
