8N rock shaft

Well, I'm in the process of rebuilding my lift assembly on my 8n. Heres my problem. CHEAP QUALITY PARTS! I purchased a new rock shaft a while back, and when I installed it I discovered the casting was warped (for lack of a better word) to one side causing it to rub against the position control spring. I took it off and side grinded it for clearance. That took care of that problem but now there is another thing. The cam on the casting is a good bit further toward the position control housing where the 5/16 dowel pin rides. So far in fact that the rock shaft cam almost rubs the position control housing and does rub if the rock shaft moves slightly toward that side. There is some slight side to side play in the rock shaft after everything is assembled. I compared the new part to the old factory part and the cam location is a lot farther away from the pin. I guess I wouldn't mind paying more money for another replacement if I knew I would be getting good quality. I can tell ya this, the one I bought is JUNK! Your thoughts?

Hey there Hobo! I haven't heard from you in a long time! Yes an original would be great as long as the cam surface where the pin rides is in good shape. The surface was worn on mine and that is why I am replacing it. But you probably already know that. If you will, go and pull one out of your supply and let me know how much you have to have for it and we can go from there. Sound good?
