Ford tool mystery

Found these in my FIL's barn when cleaning out, the offset wrench has ford -M-40-17017 on the under side and is 1" on the open end and 5/8" on the closed end hex, the other is marked FOMOCO 80-17035-8 and is 1-1/2" with 3/4 square drive on the other end for a ratchet or breaker bar as well as holes for a round rod for leverage.

The one with holes in it is Budd lugnut socket and other is guessing Model T wrench.

"40-17017 wrench was used from 1933 to 1938 on V8's that used 18mm spark plugs."

(Open end fit sparkplugs and other end fit headbolts.)

I think the 80 17035 8 is really 8Q 17035 B. If it is it retailed for $1.05 in 1948.

Yep, Bob & Shaun nailed them. They are NOT any tools used on any FORD tractor. Your FIL must have had a Model A or early V8 auto.
