I am working on a 1967 Farmall cub and I noticed that the fan blade was tinging the fan shroud. I shook the blade and there is a little play it. Question one. What damage will I cause if I continue to use the tractor. Question 2. Can I just replace the bearings in the pulley housing. Are the bearings available. Question 3 . Will I have to pull the fan shroud and radiator to fix my problem.

You need to replace the water pump.

If you continue to use it, the fan may go into the radiator.

Dean, a Cub fan has it's own "fan hub" that supports the fan.

Older ones had a sleeve bearing running steel-to-steel that had to be oiled, later ones had a ball/roller bearing similar to a waterpump bearing, I woild GUESS the O.P.'s is new enough to have the later bearing system.

So will I have to remove my radiator to replace this bearing. Any Idea where I can purchase the bearing assembly. Not seeing it on ebay.
