1959 841 Diesel Elenco

Today must be the day for odd tractors; never heard of this Ford before:

Looks like an Elenco on a fairly nicely done 841 with brand new rubber
all the way around to boot. Doesn't look like [b:e41cd1ecf9]$21K[/b:e41cd1ecf9] to me though.

For that kind of money I would expect the box air cleaner instead of one off a 1963 diesel. For that kind of money he is at least 10 years too late. Seen them sell at that time for 18K/22K. Guess I should have flipped mine when I bough it around that time. Goes to show how bad the old tractor market is.

in sold something to a guy from NC about 30 years ago who was big time into old ford iron. (wish I could remember what I sold him) he told me Funk V8 8N conversions were selling anywhere from 10 to 25K depending on condition. is that market still strong ?

I go to shows in my area but rarely see anything changing hands, so there doesn't seem to be much of a market to me. Craig's list will have N's from time to time, some appear only once and others stay on for several weeks; have no way of knowing whether they sold and/or for how much, or whether the seller gave up. Most pictures of the N's and related look like they are in poor condition, some claim to be restored and are pricey. This one was just so unusual I thought others might enjoy the picture.
