One of my Farmalls runs for a min. are so and knocks off it starts back up maybe 30 sec. later about the time you can get to it and check it out. The bad is the battery is grave yard dead I use it 30 min a year so use a jump box to crank it. This is getting old the battery is not EZ to change and I am not gonna put a new one in it for no more than I use it.

I diagnosed it as an ignition problem it has EI I installed it about 2014. OK no spark every thing checks good remove the dist cap the module does not look right so pop off the distributor for a look see... Its lifted on one side WTF I can not remove it are pry it off the mounting studs I am confused are the studs screwed in from the bottom. Well I get two nuts and screw'er down... If it had nuts they are no were to be found.

Put the dist back on it runs great...

If I get time in the next few days I speck its time to upgrade the muffler.

Looks similar to the battery position on my BN.
Only comes out to the clutch side and the clutch pedal is in the way.
Pedal has to be held down for it to clear. No wonder so many of those
battery boxes were trashed in favor of a flat plate and a bungee cord.
EI mounts like the one I just put in my 3000. It had nuts with star washers.
Obviously the EI isn't going to work without a battery.
That's one of the nice things about a magneto ignition.
