8N hydraulic problem

8N hydraulics will not work when in "Draft" mode with draft lever in the down position. Doesn't do a thing, no noise, no attempt to raise the plow, nothing.

Hydraulics work with the draft lever in the up position. You have to manually work the control lever when plowing.

Yes the pto was engaged and clutch up in both situations. Also the control lever was adjusted thru its full range.

Fluid was changed when the pto shaft was changed, but it had the problem before. Did not find a lot of gunk in the bottom of the transmission, etc. What is going on?

nside, the DRAFT input adjustments to control mechanism are separate from the POSITION control input. Likely an adjustment or bent linkage problem. Additionally there are sometimes adjustment and or wear problems with the draft plunger assembly. These are old pieces of machinery.

Try adjusting the quadrant 4 bolts that mount it to the lift cover loosen and slid it forwards are backwards... One more thang you can do try that first...

The other is gonna involve a torch If you don't have one I am not gonna go there..
