They just finished today. 3 pours, 31 yards
of concrete. Garage plus apron and side
slab.
Those guys work hard!
I will take it from here - lay up a course
of block around the perimeter then start the
framing.
We've been without a garage for nearly 3
years while I added onto the house.

Every building needs a solid foundation. Looking nice. We are all happy for you and know you will enjoy your new garage. Cheers, Murray

You're gonna love having a garage.... and the garage will never be DONE... they never are... Put in enough OUTLETS and enough 220... Insulate and get a gas line there... it'll be good!!!

Cool, moneys no good if you can not spend it....

Crush and run rock fairies showed up here today with 80 tons I got to drive the tractor and spread most of it :)... I am put'N in a road to a shop down by the RR track and fix'N a pad for a 24X30 carport.

Thanks guys.
It'll be swell to have a garage again.
It's not as big as I wish. The City will only let you have 1K square feet so that's what I built. My wife gets a stall out of that too.
Should have plenty of power. I ran underground for 100 amp service. Will run underground for nat gas heat this fall.
Here's the old garage. It was in the way for the addition so I picked it up and hauled it 120 mi to our property.
It was in good shape - except for the paint.

Looks good Jerry, post some pictures when the building is up.

I had the guys out to tailgate 510 tons of crushed limestone on the lane and between the house and barn a couple of months ago. Leveling it with one of my favorite implements behind the N on a long chain is a 12' farm gate.

Going to take a while to level 510 tons with a 12' gate.

Congrats UD, my shop is smaller than yours will be but I was so glad to get back on a concrete floor after doing without for several years.
I installed a 200 amp service in mine but I have two welders and a good sized air compressor, also installing a good sized HVAC unit to help with the hot humid days we have down here.
