Hi all this is my first post and my first ownership of an 8n..when I first purchased it, it had a trip handle front end loader on it, the tractor needed a lot of TLC. I took loader off and decided to go through it completely. So far I've changed plugs, rebuilt carb, changed transmission fluid, and now getting ready to do points and oil change. The oil pressure is really good on this one (35psi at start up idle) with no smoke or blow bye. Before I brought it home I had new tires and tubes put on in the front, sadly I will be needing rear tires sooner or later.
The old tractor will be getting an amateur rattle can paint job this spring. I plan on using it plow up and disc my garden, mow and push snow. So far so good. I've learned a lot just by doing Google searches on anything I wanted to know about it...and this site kept popping up with the answers I needed..so I now you all have to put up with me...
