Here's a question for the board:
How much does it devalue an N to have it painted the wrong colors?

A 9/2 painted red/gray - probably not much.
Might even increase the value.

Any N painted blue/gray? Probably a little.

But an N painted up in JD Green/yellow?
I would say probably quite a bit.

That river flows, perhaps, both ways... what if your JD was painted grey and red? Or your Farmall painted Minneapolis Moline yellow??!

Around here, it seems to help them sell.
To many people, they're all 8N's anyway, even if they're a
4 cylinder 2000/4000, so they're all supposed to be red bellies.
