Hi again,

Took awhile learning how to upload pictures. Finally figured it out. The pic below shows the end of the shifter rail on top of the hydraulic pump. The two were so tight together, the rail would not move.

My solution was to hand file the bottom of the ribs touching the pump. Not much, just enough to ease the pressure between them and allow the rail to move back & forth.
I do not know what caused a change in the rail. I do know that the scotch yokes were smashed into little pieces, could that have caused the rail to bend downward? It doesn't look like it is parallel to the drive shaft in the photo above?

Fix one thing, two more issues pop up! Life's good.

Something ain't right somewhere. If the rod is bent slightly downward just loosen the nut at the end of the fork on the shifter rail and rotate the rail and lock down the nut. Grooves are cut all the way around the rail for detent ball, so that's not a problem. If you shifter rail is bent too bad it will restrict is from going in and out. Or replace the shifter rail if bent. I haven't seen one bent to cause this problem.

Quoting Removed, click Modern View to see

I would be checking the bottom of the trans, may be bent up, that looks more like the shifter for the PTO.
