57 MM Utility Tractor PTO Pump Install Question

I'm having a hard time finding pics and how-to instructions on installing an 11 GPM PTO pump. If any of you have same or similar pump installed, would you please help me with this?
Pics would be very helpful too. I believe I need a torque bar and chain set up... I looked at the prince pump torque bars and about had a stroke. Will angle iron work?? I just want to be sure I have this set up correctly before firing it up. The pics are of pump and hind end of my MM. Thank you!

Yes you are right. Any piece of angle or strap iron 6 or so inches long and chain it. Do you have enough room for the pump to fit between the tractor pump and the PTO? If not you may have to use a PTO extension.

I was just looking at extensions this morning lol. Thanks again.[/quote]

Make sure you put some grease on the splines occasionally. One of those style pumps was on the M5 I bought and part of the splines
on the tractor shaft were worn off.

They do make an extension that is long enough that it goes all the way through the pump and sticks out the back so you can still can use the PTO. I wouldn't want to put anything on it though that uses too much power. That would be a lot of leverage out there on the tractor PTO.

hank you for the tip.

Here's the best I could do with the photo. It's a bar about 2 foot long, 1 1/2 wide, 3/8 thick. with a small chain at the bottom that goes around the draw bar. This is on my Hesston 1010 hydro swing.
