KTA project update

Been working on the midsection of my KTA while the snow flies here in Wisconsin.
Rehabbed the steering gear assembly, cleaned and painted the gas tank, and replaced the clutch throw out collar and fork.
Painted the whole area under the tank including the saddle.
Starting to put it all back together so I can get it out and drive it now that the weather is finally turning.

Found a design flaw as I was replacing the
fork and collar. The two stub shafts on
the collar really don't get lubed by any
means. When you grease the collar it only
gets the inside lubed.

Same setup was used all through U G Z R and later into 6 cylinder diesels. The 6 cylinder one had an extra disc and plate to handle the 100 hp. All made by Twin Disc.

Well I guess it must have worked ok then. And my tractor won't be worked in the field so I'll probably be ok.
