You Lucky dog!!! I can't believe all the stuff you find out with the cactus. Looks GOOD on the outside, hope it is that good on the inside. CONGRATULATIONS!!

You have to be careful when looking under rocks in the desert. There maybe a rattler waiting for you.

It should be a fun project. I heard it run back in 2008. It just took 14 years for the owner to decide it was time to sell.

Luckily, he called me.

Very, very lucky, long-term find!
And a green one with off-white accents. That's neat.
Have an older, larger, TC with a very similar green repaint, with deep red accents instead.
Fun to see the green repaints! The one here is from Kansas and there are a few greenies up in Canada.

The previous own's dad did that paint job in the 70's. He had some green paint that he did not like so he went to the local paint shop and they mixed it with another paint and came up with that custom color.

I like it.

In AZ, we use those side fenders to protect the tires from the cactus instead of protecting the trees from the tires.

Keith--what a great find. The sheet metal on it looks fantastic. Maybe we can convince you to have some copies made. I know I could use a set for mine.

The tractor is very original. It has the original engine. I hope to hear it run soon. The previous owner took very good care of it. The toolbox is even there.

I will probably pull one of the fender skirts off to straighten a little damage at some point. I thought that would be a good time to study how the skirts were made.

I do not know of anyone who would be able to reproduce the sheet metal at this time. I'm sure there is someone out there.

Got the JTO pushed into the shop a couple weeks back. With a carb from a 335 installed, it fired off and ran after correcting the firing order on the magneto.

Very promising.

Took the JTO project for a first drive a few days back. Making progress on the governor. I think it will make it to the March show in Apache Junction, AZ.

The crank support is missing on the left one and the crank is a little bent. Someone probably ran the crank into an immoveable object and the crank and support lost.

Two of the JTOs made it to a show in Apache Junction, AZ last weekend.
