I have a 1945 RTU I hope to paint next summer. its in good shape with good tin.The only thing thats really bad is the PTO shaft is worn. It is also a smaller older style. I guess I will never use a PTO on the tractor, but if it isnt too tough to remove the PTO shaft I will change it. Does anyone know how big of a job it is to change a the PTO shaft?

Thanks John for the reply. I have a manual around here somewhere Ill have to look at it over the winter. If it doesnt look too terribly tough Ill probably switch it out.

I'm have a complete RTU I'd sell I live in MO the Lake of the Ozarks area. It is a basket case

Old, thanks for the offer on the tractor. Its a little too far of a drive from Minnesota. The tractor I have is in really good shape. All I really need is a PTO if I decide to change it.

Shoot that is only around 500 miles LOL. Years back I live in MN and my dad was raised there and my cousin last I knew still had the family farm up there

I have two parts "Rs" setting here with PTO s in them in northern Illinois. Give me a call. 815.456.2114.
