Moline forklift ignition.

Hi guys, this is Dave from the Farmall board. Today I'm working on a
friend's Moline forklift with no spark. I have voltage to the
distributor and the coil seems ok. It hasn't run in 6 or so years so I'm
cleaning the points next. If I needs parts does this number on the
engine me anything? The distributor is in front of the 4 cylindar engine
if that helps.

Post a photo of the distributor and of the breaker plate and points.

Likely, they are a common part and available at an auto parts store once identified.

Also this part is between the distributor and the cap. Points are at 20 thousanths, is that correct.

It's a common Delco Remy distributor, gap sounds right or very close. I can post auto parts store part numbers later, if needed.

Thanks guys, here is a better picture of the distributor info. Any idea what this beast is? Was it produced by MM or is it home made?

Looks like a 1 arm Lull Skytrak loader. MM provided the powertrain to Lull/Koering. Probably has an MM Package # for a model (tag on side of transmission housing).

The NAPA number for the points is CS763A
Cap: RR174 I think this is the plate between the cap and the housing.
rotor: RR83
condenser: RR174.
cap: RR145

hope this helps. Some NAPAs are much more helpful if you have a part number.

Looks exactly like my Brickbuggy, Jetstar 3 industrial chassis, whats the serial number on the boom? The tractor serial number is on the right side behind the brake pedals. My tractor is 28301576 and the loader is number 103 I think, I'll have to recheck that later
