Could someone direct me to a site where I might find out the approximate value of my 1946 RTU? I am not in a hurry, but my husband's health is the reason I might need to rehome my tractor; he keeps it running for me. It is parade ready and I also have a custom trailer for it. Since our local club dissolved several years ago, I don't have the network for tractor interest. That is why I am asking here, as I enjoy visiting this Forum.

All depends on the area your in. Here in mi. probably between 1000. t0 2000. if it has new tires and paint. It would help if you could post a picture maybe.

Thanks for replying. The photo of the tractor and wagon was from Christmas 2012. It made a great display, but we only did that once as I didn't like them sitting out in the weather. The photo of me was a few weeks ago. I went on my own tractor drive in our rural area, just to give my tractor some engine time and to smell exhaust. It is a crank, but also has a battery. With the crank it almost always starts on the first pull. My husband keeps it running great. Hope my picture links work. http://www.cassphoto.com/xmas12.jpg

Wow. Those sure are nice. Looks like you are a long ways from here. No idea of what they are worth out there.

According to this webpage the average asking price is around 3000. That is the average of 60 units advertised. Im thinking that number is a bit skewed because the high asking price was 35000. which would bring the total average up higher than it probably should be. All these numbers I got from tractor values on the left side of this webpage. I looked cause Ive got an R Im trying to peddle also. Had it at a MM featured show last week and never got the 1st nibble. It ultimately come down to what the market will bear in your area. Best wishes to you and your husband. Hope he gets well enough you can keep it. DP

Sorry to hear you got no nibbles. I searched for one, 15 years ago, as it was a good size for me and I only wanted MM; it was my birthday present. Someone in our tractor club happened to have one! They are not common here. We have done a lot of tweaking to it.
An auction about 3 years ago near me had a lot of vintage tractors. Some only brought the price of their new tires. Really a heart break.
Our son made the trailer for me. Isn't it amazing? I hate to part with them, just for the sentimental aspect.
Thanks for the market numbers. I figured it would sell for less than we paid, but have to calculate the fun I've had into it!

Most running R's struggle to bring 500$ here. Saw a restored RTS bring 2k but was several years ago.

Yes, I have a feeling the market for my R is poor. I'm just at the stage of thinking of letting it go; not sure the best place to offer, if I do. Has anyone tried Facebook Marketplace?

That's what I like to see. The tractor has the
right decals in the right place and the right
lights. MM liked to show their tractor with a pretty
lady and even that looks right.

If you are serious on selling, I would contact Aumann Auctions 888-282-8648 They specialize in the antique tractor market. They have a consignment sale coming up and taking consignments now. The sale is October 27 an online only auction and you don't have to haul it anywhere, they can sell it from your place. All you have to do is send them some pics and info about it and they handle the rest. Very good company to deal with, I have bought and sold with them many times. Good luck with selling if that's what you choose or need to do.

Thanks so much for the suggestion of Aumann Auctions. Definitely will keep it in mind. Just not sure I'm ready to let my tractor and trailer go yet. But life changes may force a decision.

Hope to keep it a while longer. Just wondering what the options are for rehoming it. The auction suggestion looks good. Thanks for the support and suggestions!
