Rear wheels

It depends why they wobble. I have a '38 ZTU and the right wheel wobbles. Following behind it, the axle looks straight. Its the cast plate the wheel clamps to that is no longer straight, assuming it wasn't like that when it left the factory. (I got it from a salvage yard. Something must have happened to it in the last 80+ years.)

Back when I was showing it, I just lived with the wobble. It wasn't noticeable in the ride quality unless you were in fifth gear. Then you could sense an up and down motion.

On mine I jacked it up and loosened all the bolts on the rails enough so you could turn the bolts a little by hand but note the space between the bolt and the nut and keep that spacing on each of them when you tighten them.
