I ve got a M670 Super diesel project tractor. After changing all the fluids I decided to hook it up to my batwing and mow a pasture with some pretty thick and tall grass. The tractor did not like it. Had to go in 1st gear and even in Low range most of the time. Now to be completely honest my tractor has pretty bad blow by, so I m sure it s not got as much horsepower as when it rolled off the assembly line
So is my motor just getting old and weak and is it time for a rebuild or is this tractor just too small to run a 15 batwing mower??
Also this is probably shooting myself in the foot since I was just complaining my poor old tractor can hardly run that bush hog, but is anyone in the Oklahoma area interested in buying a M670 super? I ve been a lifetime MM fan ever since I saw those prairie gold tractors in farming books as a kid. However at this point in my life I am in college and finishing this project isn t going to happen for the next several years at least. I would consider selling the tractor to someone who share the same enthusiasm towards Minneapolis-Molines as I do
