Ztu carb kit

Having trouble finding a needle and seat for my carburator.
Marvel Scheibler model TR. nobody seems to know what will work.

TRX12 is number. Was used on G4 combines as well.

If you have a local O'Reilly's or NAPA take the carb with you and they can get you a kit if they don't have one in stock. Done that many times over the years

Are you sure it is not a TRX carburetor?

If anyone on here would know how or where to get a kit for one of those, it would be MMDEL. He will probably see this post eventually.

You could call Welters 417-498-6496 (I think) Or Wendell Everett (I don't remember his #.)

I do not know if you could use the needle and seat from a TSX carburetor kit or not.

This might not be real easy to determine what you need. This is what is in the old Z parts book. TRX-12 used on engines to number 74916 Inc. Then there is a note THE CARBURETOR MFG MADE CHANGES WITHOUT CHANGING MODEL NUMBER, NEEDLE SEAT ARE DIFFERENT. You have to look on the underside of the cover plate. There should be a number cast on the under side it is 56-124 or 56-131. I had a source where I could get any part for old and obsolete carburetors. Don't know if they are in business yet or not. Give me a call 815.456.2114 let it ring. I have kits for all the others but not this one.
