UTU radiator cap

Is cap supposed to be pressurized? Mine looks like a rusted fuel cap.

I think it depends on the year the tractor was built. Early ones were non pressurized and the cap was pretty much like a fuel cap. later ones used a pressurized cap. My 1949 UTS and '54 UTS both use a pressurized cap., I bought a (I think) 1947 UTU junker that used a fuel cap style on its' radiator.

I don't know what year the change was made. The '49 could have had the radiator changed for some reason. So it would probably be possible to find tractors from the same year with either cap.

MM cooling systems not pressurized until 1951-2.
