Crawler, bulldozer, what is it

I looked at a small crawler today, painted green, nut under the green was MM yellow and the hydraulic valves said Minneapolis Moline.
Can anybody identify this model, it may not be a MM, Im just guessing based on paint under green and what valves said.
Thanks

I dont know, not familiar with terra trac.
But it has gears a hand clutch, brakes to steer, and a flat head engine. If that helps, gotta be fairly old due to having a flat head engine.
Is there a terra trac model I could look up and compare pictures too?

I don't know what its name is. It is based on the Clark Air crawlers used by the military in World War two that could be carried to remote
locations by aircraft. I think someone actually produced them for a while after the war and offered them for civilian use.
There was a similar one for sale in Virginia on Facebook a few weeks ago.

No Moline hydraulic valves have "Minneapolis Moline" cast or stamped in them that I have ever seen. Might want to look a little closer. Greisen valves are cast "Minneapolis Minn" where they were made.

That begs the question. Didn't Case call their crawlers Terratrac? Did they buy Terratrac? Seems like I read one time that they did.

Thanks, that really helps, that has to be what it is.
Now for next question, whats its worth?
Its non running,, setting for 20 plus years, engine turns free, looks complete. The right axle has all kinds of homemade spacers to keep sprocket tight, the left axle has sprocket welded to axle, bunch of thick poorly made welds. That is about all the seller knows about it. Im not sure I want it with the axles welded to the drive sprockets and not running. Might be a huge money pit.
But thanks so much for the information about it, at least we identified what it is. I just always wanted a crawler about that size, maybe I should keep looking, dont know.
Thanks

You are correct. Case purchased Terratrac in the 1950's. I believe they used the Terretrac name for a little while after the purchase.

The Terratrac and Case small dozers were both derived from the US Trac 10A machines originally contracted to the USFS.

Hopefully yours has a better set of rings than this one!

Owning a 310C Ive never read on a connection of Rojtman/ Terratrac to US Trac. As I understand US Trac was connected with Clark. While both used Continental engines at one time I dont think they were directly connected. Rojtman bought American Steel Dredge Co then formed ATC/ Terratrac which Case bought out around 1956. Not sure how soon the Case badge entered and Terratrac left or if they lapped. I understand my 310C to be a 56, but it has Terratrac cast in the counter weight. I believe there might be some 57 Terratracs.
