Have a parts Vista diesel that was being built to run on alcohol. Rearend was modified and have 504 lp motor bored 30 over. Was
done back in 80's. Fellow that started to build won national championship.

Back in my early tractor pull viewing days I used to see a couple of G1000s that were running on alcohol. Late 60s or early 70s. They were run by a couple of brothers or b-i-ls out of somewhere near Gainsville, Texas, Lindsey maybe. I cannot remember if they were turbocharged but I remember they had a maze of plumbing on the side of the engines. Little lines or hoses everywhere.
There was another puller from around Denison that had a BIG Ford V-8 from a tank in a tractor frame and several Allison A/C engines in tractors.
