I've seen several sites on the internet saying that Minneapolis Moline model BF was a fairly rare tractor, is that true?? I know where one is at and i can buy it for a good price, the motor is stuck and it would need a restoration. It has 3 point hitch, cultivators, and PTO. Below is a couple photos of it, what do you guys think it is worth in this shape?? If anyone is interested in it, let me know. It does have a rain cap over the exhaust pipe. It is in western NC

I am trying to finish up a MM BG (Similar to the BF but the one row version.)

As far as 'rare' I don't know production numbers. What I paid for mine in similar condition to the pictures was $600. I live in central NC.

Some of the real issues is that parts for those are really pricey. (I quit keeping up with the total cost when it got near $2500 and the engine wasn't back together yet, but that wasn't nearly all I spent.) Right now it is almost ready for paint and tires. (Wonder if I can do that for another $2000?)

I don't see an air cleaner bonnet in your pictures. The hood tends to saw off the air cleaner inlet pipe, then water ruins the cup at the bottom of the air cleaner. Another issue is really how badly the engine is stuck. One cylinder had frozen and busted my block.

If you decide to try to fix it, I may be able to help with parts sources and part numbers.
