Why aren't MM guys and girls. Doing this. You go to a big antique pull and most of the 8 and 12 mph tractors are 460 IHC. Alabet till you get to 6000 lb. MM are there. But a 4000 lb tractor is sure easier to haul. And 45 to 5000 is where the 460's and 77's are. Surely one could machine a U crankcase to bolt to a Z bellhousing. Should be able to pull 3750. I would try it but I'm trying it with a D17 Diesel. It weights less than 4000 and this winter it is getting lighter Just a thought LOL. Vic.

There are all kinds of U's in the 45 and up,a few in the 4000, and they are way bigger than 713, Why would you want to fool with a ZB?

I thought I just saw 2 4250 U's at Tinica. Maybe 5here was more. I saw one 4500 lb. 5 star. A ZB would be easier to get there. And I think a ZB would be stronger than a 460 or a 77.
