670 hydraulic leak

I have a problem with a 1969 670 Super diesel with closed center hydraulics and 3 speed torque. Hydraulic fluid is leaking from the hydraulic system into the transmission to the point hydraulic oil has come out from the gear shift boot. There is no leaking of hydraulic oil to the engine or engine leaking into the hydraulic oil. The only place I know that the hydraulic oil could get into the transmission is the little line that goes to the top link bracket.
If that is the problem, what is the problem causing the hydraulic oil to go thru that line? Thanks, Jim

Better get that fluid drained down to level soon or you will have axel seals and seals on the brake pinion shaft leaking on the brakes.

Does the little pump on the back of the tractor control the 3 speed torque? Is that a complete sperate system from the closed center system?

Know theory on 3 speed but not sure of location of components. Hydraulic supply may be on back but slave cylinder would have to be near A/T to shift.

Pump on back is lube pump. Torque control valve on top of transmission. Looks like torque itself is the cylinder. Agco parts online shows setup. Better hope it's not in torque.

The 3 speed ampli-torc is shifted via a valve body inside the transmission and uses transmission fluid in its engagement circuit. It would not be the cause of your transmission being overfull on hydraulic fluid.
