Minneapolis Moline G955

Working on a MM G955. I have added hydraulic oil to the reservoir under the seat for the steering and remotes. Tractor only gets about 200hrs on it by end of summer. At end of summer the reservoir will be a gallon low. When I open the top plug to the rear end to check the fluid it flows out as it is overfilled. I am assuming the fluid from the reservoir is flowing into the rear end. Is this a big concern as the fluid is the same. Will this damage the tractor if used when over filled. I am assuming there is a gasket between the 2 that needs replaced. Thanks for any advice.

It is dumping hydraulic in rearend through pto activating slave cylinder. Pto need to be rebuilt hydraulic controlled. Oliver
rear. Common problem.

What is the effect to the tractor if the extra fluid is not removed. Will this damage the rear end when it gets to full.

Pto runs all the time. Will not turn off or brake. Dangerous if using on baler or combine. Not sure how it would mix with rearend
oil. Normally heavier gear oil. Depends on what is in it. Problem will get worse. Cost me 1800$ maybe 15 years ago. Would order
parts and do myself next time. Know of 3 nearby that had same problem.

I worked for an Oliver dealer back in those days. There was an update in those seals and there are few oth things you need to check too. Send me an e-mail.
