Zau steers hard

I still haven't got around to checking the steering. I'm wondering if they just naturally need to be manhandled?

Have you tried to help it?

like grease the lower bearing in the bolster. The grease fitting should be between the wheels. I am thinking it is on the right side as you
sit in the seat.) Make sure there is oil in the steering gearbox. I don't know if it is 90wt. or 140wt. (I am thinking the check plug should
be on the worm gear side of the bolster.) Dad's ZB has 2 plugs there, the lower one is a drain. My ZTU has only one plug. I don't know which
way a ZA is. If you get it too full it will run over a shoulder under the sector gear and come out the bottom. That is one way of getting
lube to that bottom bearing.

If there is a grease fitting in the support bearing just ahead if the steering wheel, put grease in there too.

No. Haven't looked at it yet it's been raining and I was busy so thought I would ask. Do not know how hard they turn to begin with.

I pulled the full level plug which I assume is the fill hole aswell. It's full but not oil but water. I see no where to drain it other than maybe pulling worm gear?
