602/4 diesel clutch plate

I have a refurbished clutch plate with new facings that I picked up last time I was in the US. Just noticed it doesn't have the central damper springs like my old one, and the splined hub is a 1/4 shorter. A check of the parts book shows there were different plates for the diesel and gas/LP. I doubt it's going to make any difference. The tractor won't be doing any hard work. Any thoughts?

And any tips on refitting the clutch, especially lining up the plate? The I&T manual is pretty vague.

Yes, I wondered about that. Not really sure why the diesel needs the damper springs and the others don't. Possibly because it doesn't idle as smoothly and transfers vibrations to the transmission?

Doesn't look like it would be too difficult to transfer the facings - might be the safest option.
