I picked up a Super M670 LP Tractor that was well used a few years ago. It has a considerable amount of Gear Noise while driving it. It is really loud in 5th gear but seems to do it in all gears, being more noticable the faster one travels. It seemingly does it both with the amplitorque in high or low. When traveling down the road and the tractor unloads when starting down a grade it seems to diminish until the drivetrain is loaded again. This tractor is well used but i like it. The main clutch is seemingly getting a little weak so i though i might split it this fall and was looking for advise on what the noise could be as i would like to address that during that repair also.
