ZTU rear rim

I need to replace the rear rim on a 1947 ZTU, do I have to remove the big U bolt on the hub to get the rim past it? or is there enough room to snake it past. Another quick project that is taking way longer than planned. Brian

Thanks, I was afraid of that. Nuts wouldn't budge last night.

The time I did it, it took a combination of heat, hammering on the flats, and a 6 ft. pipe on the 3/4 breaker bar to turn those nuts. (About 25 years ago.)

I heated them and used a MM wheel wrench with a pipe , got loose easy.
