Re: sway bars

There is a list of parts suppliers on www.jetstar.minneapolismoline.com.
I have personally dealt with Wendell Everett and Welter's Farm Supply and been happy with their service every time. (Wendell is only part
time-he farms too-so keep calling until you get him.)

I don't have a picture to send you but basically, MM set up their sway bars so they go to the center between the pto and the drawbar. There
was a separate piece mounted in a yoke above the drawbar with a hole about 3 from the end that pivoted in the yoke and this allowed for
minor problems with the difference in the sway bar and the lift arm pivot points. The sway bars themselves were pinned in that hole in that
yoke.

Thanks TRK. Do you still have bars on your Jet Star? Have tried all the usual sources for these with no luck. I'm wondering if anyone out there ever used the factory sway bars.... or if anyone still uses them. More photos-- and especially DIMENSIONS-- would be most helpful as I may end up having to make my own. Could you provide any photos of yours? I know there were different length bars for category 1 vs category 2. I'm looking for cat 2. Could you measure your bars, hole center-to-hole center? That's going to be the critical dimension. Thanks!
