MM M5 3 PT. HITCH

On my MM M5 with a decent load weight on the 3 pt. hitch. My Mott flail mower.
When I lower the hand lever to lower the mower it just drops real fast with a bang. Is there a way to adjust so that it lowers the arms and the mower more gradual????? thanks.....

The drop rate is controlled by a Lever under the seat. Move the upper of the two levers under the seat towards the right side of the tractor until you get the rate of drop you like. If you go too far, you will be in transport lock mode and the implement will not drop at all.

I got it backwards. Move the rate lever to the left to slow the drop rate.
