UB Carb settings

Last winter my UB loader tractor started acting up when I was moving snow. Turned out to be a problem with the points, but before I discovered that I messed around with the carburetor and got the adjustments all out of whack. The tractor still runs, but is running horrendously rich. Adjusting carbs is not one of my strong points and so far I have not gotten it to improve any.
Most of the time the owner's manual will tell how many turns out to start with each needle and then fine tune it from there. I was not able to find that info in my owner's manual. Just wondering if someone could give me some initial settings to use as a starting point. Thanks!

I generally start with 1 to 1-1/2 turns out on the idle screw and 2 to 2-1/2 turns out for the main jet and adjust from there.

One and 1/2 turns out from all the way shut for both. Adjust load needle first Then idle then retweek both.
