Moline GB Diesel intake heater

Recently purchased a GB diesel. Everything is there and hooked up for the intake heater set up but Im wondering how exactly it should work?? How do operate the pump and switch in the correct way for starting?? Thank you

Also it has no serial number plate anywhere on the tractor. How can I determine the year of the tractor??
 
Its got a spark plug in the intake and a ignition coil mounted next to it and then fuel lines running back to the hand pump at the operators station. Not even sure if it works just wondering how youre supposed to use it technically. Acouple pumps and then hit the switch? Is it suppose to have a switch you hold down?

More of a decoration. U/UB diesels had same option as well as Massey 95. Never have seen one that worked. Pull switch energized coil. Another option was an ether bulb. I just use ether.
 
This is ecactsame setup as Massey Harris 55. That one also had a Lanova injection.
On my 55, I put a cav flame heater.
I could cold start it very easily.
