I have a UDLX steering wheel that is in poor shape. I would like to replace it since the rubber on it is worn down to the steel rim. I've contacted the Floyd County Museum with the part number to get a drawing for the wheel. The drawing would likely give the manufacturer's name and part number. Unfortunately FCM does not have that particular drawing. I suspect the steering wheel is some fairly standard wheel that was also used on a number of 1930's trucks. Do any of you folks either have a good steering wheel that you're willing to part with or know where one can be found or know what trucks the wheel was also used on.

MinnKota no longer in business. There is a place in Spooner, Wi that does that kind of work, I don't know the name though.

You can get it recovered. Had my 8N wheel redone. Turned out really nice!

Seems to me there used to be a company called Minn-Kota that recovered steering wheels. Had one done many years ago but I think they stopped recovering. Do you have any suggestions on who currently is doing steering wheel repair?
