G1000 slight miss

Had the pump and injectors rebuild by a very reputable company but I still seem to have a slight miss thought it was air in system but after running it for an hour it's not any better. Took valve covers off and cant see any obvious bend push rods. Removed energy cells and they all checked out. It all started this fall was working it on the chisel plow and noticed it had developed a miss when stopped to change a shovel. Put it back to work and cleared out but now it's not clearing up at all. Short of pulling the heads is there a way a guy can measure the lobes on the cam before removing the heads. I'm thinking it's either that or a burnt valve. What's your guys thoughts?

It start as good as any Moline diesel I spose never needed either. It has some white smoke but that went away be4 it started missing.

You can check lobes by taking off the valve covers and measuring the distance of movement of the push rods from 0 down to 0 up.

I did use a infrared gun to check temps on all cylinders and they were all over. None were equal and the temps varied roughly 100* from the coldest to the warmest. I did crack lines individually and it didnt make a noticable difference compared to when I did the injectors on my 670. That part had me really puzzled it had fuel to all injectors when they were cracked and is fresh clean fuel

Sounds like time for motor rebuild. Hard starting. White smoke when cold? Cracking lines to detect bad hole not as noticeable on a 6 cylinder.

Any slobbering out exhaust? Crack lines to injectors when running at idle one at a time. Should be noticeable change. Where little change will be bad hole. Check temp of cell caps. Should be equal.
