This steering knuckle on my new to me Jet Star is badly worn in the splines that engage the steering shaft. Where does one buy a replacement?

Welters has em for a 7/8 shaft but they are not original and theyre kinda pricey at 70 dollars a pop. I think I found some for a 1 inch shaft but again youd have to shim it. It was about 6 months ago when I talked to Welters about the ones they have so I am assuming they still have them. Good luck.

I've got a 4 Star. Before I got it someone had spot welded joint to shaft

I had a joint on another machine that was worn. Took a tin can, cut some narrow strips and pushed them in for shims. Not perfect but helped.
