Roosa Master pump

Have had two Roosa pumps that are tough to turn as in gummed up. Got one turning freely and am using. Other is real tight. Any
tricks?

If really gummed up with old stale fuel it will need torn completely down for cleaning. Will probably have metering valve, delivery valve, and rotor plungers stuck too. Just took apart an AC D-17 pump apart today for the same trouble, all moving parts were stuck inside.

Have all apart head still tight.

Is that pump drive shaft broken? If so head and rotor is seized.

Shaft and everything look good just can't turn by hand.

Now have so I can turn by hand but not as free as it should be. Would it work itself out in tractor?
