My first MM - A Jetstar!

Normally I am an IH collector, but a recent auction of a nearby, elderly neighbor changed that a bit. I first saw the tractor when I was about 14. I thought it was unique then and 38 years later it is still the only one I have seen in person. Runs great but needs tlc, like a manifold, ignition switch, steering wheel, seat etc. No hydraulics or 3 pt. Live pto and amplitorc. I have lots of questions about finding parts and after browsing this forum it looks like there are a lot of friendly, helpful people. Hello from Saskatchewan! That's my patient wife posing with our new "treasure".

Handy little tractors. About 44 PTO horsepower. A lot of them got loaders put on them. Mine has one. The serial number makes it a 1961, like mine. They were originally painted Metallic Bronze on everything but the wheels, which were painted Prairie Gold.

The Energy Yellow paint was used on the Jetstar 2, in 1963.

My first and only MM is a Jetstar. Mine has the 3 point hitch . It’s an Industrial model with a heavy duty fixed width wide front. I really like the tractor and use it with a three-point hitch mounted sickle bar mower. Good luck with yours. Only thing I don’t like about it is that it is hard to get to the sediment bowl and gas shut off.

I have a 61 jet Star, a '62 jet Star that I bought new when I returned from Korea, a '65 jet star 3 and a '66 jet star jet star 3 super industrial with a loader on it. My '62 had a loader on it for years and they are all great tractors.
